Metalgalante presents a new generation of self-loading off-road truck mixers at bauma

The Carmix self-loading off-road truck mixers produced by Metalgalante are increasingly technological.

The new Carmix 3500TC model, acronym for Total Control, is today the flagship of a technology developed in over 40 years of experience. The Carmix 3500 TC is a real mobile concrete production plant. The Carmix 3500TC has unique features such the 600 liters capacity self-loading front bucket, always clearly visible from the new Rops Fops cab which offers the operator greater visibility than the previous generation model. The large cockpit and comfort level of the new cab are optimized and air conditioning are available. The Carmix 3500TC have a 3.5 m3 drum of effective productivity (4,850 total liters) and is mounted on a lowered design frame that centers the weight in central position respect the 4 wheels. This feature allows the center of gravity to be lowered to increase stability even on the most challenging construction sites, but also to distribute the weight in a balanced way on the two axles both in translation and while 300 °rotating the drum to use the concrete produced.

The new electronic management Concrete Mate is also very important. Concrete production system which, thanks to electronic sensors, weighs each ingredient loaded into the barrel and allows the operator, via the production management panel, to obtain a perfect concrete. The Promix system is also available on request which, through a rheological sensor integrated inside the drum, allows you to know in real time the slump-consistency, temperature and volume of the concrete in the barrel, without having to do consistency tests with Abrams cone. The Carmix 3500 TC is also available with a new Stage V engine 3.6 liters Perkins turbo diesel. The power rises to 90 kW delivered at just over 2,000 rpm, but above all the torque reaches a good 550 Nm delivered at 1,500 rpm. The exhaust after-treatment system is complete: Dpf and Scr system with urea injections, but it is optimized not to require active regeneration when the machine is stopped and to allow you to work without any worries. Nevertheless the new Carmix connection system that allows the management of remote diagnostics and the GPS localization of the machine.
