Faresin launches the new version of the 6.26 Full Electric telehandler, with an upgrade of all main components

Faresin presents an absolute novelty for 2023: the new version of the 6.26 Full Electric equipped with an upgraded version of all main components. The manufacturer based in the Veneto Region in Italy strengthens the range of electronic lifters in the direction of Full Electric and launches in parallel the heavy duty 14.42, 17.40 and 17.45 models entirely designed and industrialized in the Breganze factories. All the new electric motorized models look at an interesting and rapidly expanding market segment focused on the use of these machines in closed environments such as warehouses, logistics areas or urban shipbuilding activities.

The second generation of the FARESIN 6.26 Full Electric

2023 is definetly the year for the renewal of Faresin's first historical electric model, the 6.26 Full Electric. The main improvements are the ones of recharge times and operating autonomy. The battery-charging system of the 6.26 MY 2023 is available in three variants: the 24 kW/h (315 Ah) with an autonomy up to 6 hours, the 32 kW/h (420 Ah) with an autonomy up to 8 hours and the 43 kW/h ( 560 Ah) with an autonomy up to 11 hours. Compared to the first version, the Faresin 6.26 Full Electric MY 2023 can be configured with four available charging systems in order to meet different needs of all customers in different parts of the world by managing the frequency of use and the intensity of the work cycles. The types of recharging, with reference to the 315 Ah battery, include four different methods: the standard single-phase on-board charger (supplied as standard) that has been completely redesigned gaining half recharging times compared to the 2018 version, an external three-phase that charges the battery in just over 3 hours, an external three-phase FAST, for extremely rapid recharges in just over an hour. Finally, there is the FAST on-board battery charger for recharging in just over two hours, with the convenience of not using an external support, taking advantage of both the single-phase and three-phase interfaces. But that's not the end. Another interesting aspect is the recovery of energy when braking and releasing the accelerator. Activation is automatic and instantaneous. Electric motors therefore act like a generator by converting a large part of the car's kinetic energy into electrical energy, which is stored in the battery, increasing its autonomy.

Increased traction and lifting performance

Faresin on the new generation of 6.26 Full Electric telehandler has replaced the 15 kW traction motor with a more powerful 20 kW one. A brand new engine temperature control system is also installed. This reduces maintenance interventions by extending its useful life. The arm hydraulics, on the other hand, have a dedicated motor. The power is 18 kW and guarantees the same lifting performance as the endothermic engine model. In fact, to maintain good battery autonomy it is essential to remain within a defined range of temperatures. For this reason, the machines are fitted as standard with a battery thermal shielding system to avoid overheating or drops in power due to frost.

Improved driver's seat

The driving position has undergone a generalized improvement. The presence of the new LED display guarantees an always optimal contrast for maximum readability and navigability in the various functions. A new, more ergonomic and sensitive joystick has been adopted and it is also possible to install air conditioning as optional, a significant plus on electric machines of this type.
