Andrea Bolondi passes the baton relay of Atecap presidency to Giuseppe Ruggiu. Born in 1964, Giuseppe have a degree in economics and commerce from the University of Cagliari. The new president of the association is director of Guido Ruggiu Srl, a company that has been operating in the province of Oristano (Sardinia) for over fifty years in the sector of production and sale of aggregates and ready-mixed concrete. For Ruggiu, the position in Atecap follows that of President of Confindustria for Sardinia North Center area.
The guidelines of his program are four: training and information, above all capturing the expectations of young people who orbit in the concrete sector. Communication, to tell more and more about the concrete and the activities of the Association. Associative marketing, to increase the representative strength of the Atecap. Therefore, research and technology, to promote the dissemination of technical content on topics of greatest interest, not only technology but also the environment and occupational safety.
“The construction industry - underlined the new president Giuseppe Ruggiu - today more than ever moves in a scenario of optimism and at the same time of great concern in terms of prospects. Although about half of the funds in the PNRR concern investments involving construction, it seems that the sector is still unable to fully express its potential to drive the economy. In this context, the Association has a duty to support the growth of our businesses, in an inclusive, innovative and sustainable way, increasingly intercepting the needs of local businesses and, above all, the expectations of young people entering our world and who will be entrepreneurs and managers of the future. For this reason I wish to undertake a choral action, open to the contribution of all members, to solicit a permanent discussion, open on the ideas and proposals to be put in place, on the merits of the issues, based on concreteness and attentive to the time factor."
The Assembly, on the recommendation of the President, then elected four Vice-Presidents, recipients of the same number of powers on specific topics. These are:
-Roberto Belloni, Chief Operating Officer Calcestruzzo Italia of Unical Spa, a company of the Buzzi Unicem group leader in the ready-mix concrete sector in Italy, with responsibility for sustainability and energy transition;
-Bruno Crucitti, Head of Quality Control and Concrete Technologist of Crucitti Group Srl, point of reference in the concrete sector, in the province of Reggio Calabria, with responsibility for research and technology;
-Alfonso Di Bona, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Calcestruzzi Spa, a company of the Heidelberg Materials group, leader in the ready-mix concrete sector in Italy, with responsibility for human capital and training;
-Giuseppe Di Lascia, Chief Executive Officer of Conglobix Spa, a point of reference in the province of Foggia in the concrete, aggregate and asphalt sector, with responsibility for association marketing.
