The parent company of CGT and CGTE, already present in Spain with the distribution of construction machinery through the Finanzauto network, buys the Iberian lessor Emerent which has 10 offices and 70 employees


Tesya, a leading international group in providing sophisticated services and highly customized B2B integrated solutions for construction, electrical and mechanical power generation and construction site, warehouse and logistics management, starts 2023 with a new acquisition european rental sector: the Spanish Emerent. It is a rental company of construction, civil works and industrial machinery based in Asturias with 10 branches in Spain and 70 employees. In 2022 Emerent had a turnover of 20 million Euros. In the rental sector, the Tesya Group has decades of experience, consolidated in various segments: from CGT earthmoving machines, to trolleys and equipment in the intralogistics field with CLS, to CGT Trucks industrial vehicles up to CGTE's multi-specialist rental.


This is an important step and a significant investment for our Group- declares Lino Tedeschi, Tesya Group President and CEO -As part of the development and consolidation of our strategic plan, we aim to significantly strengthen the our presence in short-term rental in Spain, similarly to what we did in Italy with CGTE. As a Group we want to aim for more extensive geographical coverage in the sector and strong interaction with the aim of significantly increasing the offer in Italy and expanding our presence in the Iberian peninsula in all segments in which the added value of our solutions. This acquisition represents the conclusion of a long process of searching for a company on which to build the ambition of becoming a reference company in the short-term rental sector also in the Iberian peninsula”.


The Tesya Group is already present in Spain in the rental sector with Finanzauto Rental which provides turnkey solutions for medium and short-term needs for the generation of electricity. Finanzauto Rental was born from the consolidation of the activities of Energyst Rental Solutions in the Mediterranean area, acquired at the beginning of 2021 by Finanzauto to enhance its offer of temporary energy rental solutions. A company that combines the skills and more than twenty years of experience of Energyst with the commercial capillarity and assistance network of Finanzauto in Spain and STET in Portugal, which has a total of 25 offices.

With this acquisition, the Tesya Group is pursuing the growth objectives of its industrial plan projected to 2025. Today Tesya has over 3,400 employees in 15 countries and declares a turnover of 1.6 billion euros.
