CTE shows customers in Milan (and later in Rome) the CTE MP 20 Ev, the first 20-metre electric truck-mounted platform

The MP20 Ev electric truck-mounted platform seems to have adaptability to an urban operating environment in its DNA. Expecially In Milan and in large metropolitan areas, where working conditions are peculiar. Let's think about during night-time construction sites or those that take place in restricted traffic areas, confined spaces or with limits for noise and environmental pollution, even indoors .

Where problems related to an endothermic power supply turn out to be an operational constraint, the electric CTE truck-mounted truck proves to move at ease. But that is not the end. The equipment was set up on a full-electric E-Carry truck by GreenG, the ideal platform for moving in a completely sustainable and full electric mode. The combo obtained was thus presented to charterers and municipal companies, in a dedicated Open Day organized in recent weeks by CTE, at the Milano City 360 lifting services company in Cambiago (MI). This is the first stage of a dedicated mini-tour which, after Milan, will see the CTE MP 20 Ev exhibited in Rome, with a special event organized at ExpoEdilizia at the Tecnoalt stand, on May 27th.

The Green Innovation of CTE

The CTE MP 20 Ev 3.5 ton truck-mounted platform is a strategic model for CTE's Green Innovation project, which cover all the corporate activities related to the field of sustainability. The goal of Green Innovation? Combining the overall unity of a versatile vehicle with all the advantages it offers, i.e. applications in areas with limited access due to traffic restrictions, silence and user experience, offering public bodies, municipal companies, green large renters of sustainable work vehicles, such as full electrics.

Who is Milan City 360

Milano City 360 is CTE's commercial partner for the Milan area. Since last year, the company has been promoting and distributing CTE brand products in Milan province, with a specific strategy, i.e. supplying the machines on sub-lease to hirers, as a complementary supply or as a product test for particular applications, and then guaranteeing assistance, training and technical support solutions.

The CTE MP 20 Ev: everything you need to know

The CTE MP 20 Ev is not only the daughter of the CTE Green philosophy described above, but it is also an effective and productive platform capable of operating at a working height of 20 m thanks to the 13 m outreach for a 250 kg capacity. The configuration is the double arm: one telescopic and one jib, made of SSAB Strenx steel. It has a radio control with integrated display for movement from the ground without any obstacle. The same commands are replicated in the basket station, with a diagnostic display, to facilitate familiarization and use for each operator. It is equipped with the CTE S3 EVO state-of-the-art control system, the intelligent and safe management system of CTE aerial platforms.The vehicle range is 70 km (WLTP), for an average of 25 work cycles. Last but not least, the power supply system offers the advantage of being able to work entirely on battery power or in 'plugged-in' mode connected to the mains with the supplied charging device (220V/380V).
